What is Intelligent Document Management?
More and more we hear the words "document management"-known search engines have more than 600,000 results with these words where each tries to sell his own without understanding what they really mean.
Improper use along with the lack of Internet users and have led to an abuse of these words that in most cases not even remotely describe its meaning.
And really ... What is the Intelligent Document Management? If we try to understand it literally come to the conclusion ... is "document management", which can encompass many things. Document imaging, workflow management, document searches precise, self-classification, organization ... etc.
Document Management is covering all this and more. To get to perform with a digital document everything that can be done with a physical document, sealing, stapling, Unclip, sign, add notes, text, interact and be able to fully integrate with the ERP, extract specific information from the documents .. . etc.
Most people called "Document Management" to anything that contains one or more of the above mentioned features, which definitely is wrong.
